CQEC has been awarded China-aid Project of Residential Buildings for Doctors of Abdulla Mzee Hospital in Zanzibar, Tanzania

On September 04, 2020, CQEC has been awarded by AIECO the Engineering Design and Project Management Contract of China-Aid Residential Buildings for Doctors of Abdulla Mzee Hospital in Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The Project is to design and construct 4 multi-storey residential buildings in the residential area of the hospital. Totally there will be 76 houses including 52 sets of one-bedroom houses and 24 sets of two-bedroom houses and auxiliary facilities such as cafeteria and gymnasium. The Project covers an area of 2,800 square meters with a total floor area of 3,700 square meters, and the planned construction period is 16 months.

The project design not only meets the requirement for function and comfort, but also considers the climate conditions of the Zanzibar Island. The general layout, color and style of the project buildings closely reflect, integrate and match the beautiful scenery of the island.

The Project is the second China-Aid project undertaken by us in Tanzania after the China-Aid Kagera Vocational and Technical School, and the seventh design and management project of the Industrial and Civil Construction Category of China-Aid in Africa. Based on our strong design and management capabilities, rich engineering experience in Africa and Tanzania, we will design and manage the Project to such a level of creating a comfortable, quiet and healthy living space for the medical staff, and contribute our intelligence, responsibility and strength of Chinese Project Management Enterprise in order to jointly build the Community of Common Destiny for Human Health!
