On September 09, 2022, China-aid Sindhupalchowk Hospital Recovery and Reconstruction Project started up in Nepal. China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (abbr. as CQEC) undertakes the engineering design, construction supervision and project management works.

This project is located in Chautara, Sindhupalchowk, Bagmati, Nepal. The Chinese government will construct a comprehensive medical building to have the Out-patients Department, In-patients Department, Emergency Department, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, AIDS consulting room, Pulmonary tuberculosis consulting room, medical rooms and other supporting facilities including water pump room, temporary medical waste storage room, diesel generator shed, etc. Complete set of medical equipment and furniture will be supplied, too. The total construction area of the building will be 3790m2 and it will take 18 months to finish this project.
As one of the 25 post-earthquake reconstruction projects granted by Chinese government to Nepal, this hospital recovery and reconstruction project bears the mission of serving about 44,000 residents in Sindhupalchowk.
