China-aid Sindu Pal Chowk Hospital Recovery and Reconstruction Project in Nepal awarded to CQEC

On May 30, 2018，AIECO of the Ministry of Commerce announced to award the Project management work of the China-aid Sindu Pal Chowk Hospital Recovery and Reconstruction Project in Nepal to CQEC.

The is the Chinese government financed rebuilding project to recover the hospital damaged due to the strong earthquake in 2015. The China-aid Sindu Pal Chowk Hospital will construct a comprehensive medical building to have the Out-patients Department, Emergency Department, In-patients Department, Obstetrics and Gynecology Department, AIDS consulting room, Pulmonary tuberculosis consulting room, medical rooms and other supporting facilities, etc. The total construction area of the building will be 3790m² and it will take 18 months to finish this project.

The implementation of this recovery project will obviously enhance Sino-Nepal relationship and manifest the great support of Chinese government to the reconstruction of Nepal after the shock of the earthquake in 2015.
