The groundbreaking ceremony of China-aid project of Kagera Vocational Training and Service Centre was solemnly held on November 28th in Bukoba, Tanzania. China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (abbr. as CQEC) undertakes the engineering design and management task of this project.
Chinese Ambassador, H. E. Ms. Wang Ke, Economic & Commercial Counselor of China, Mr. Yuan Lin, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Tanzania, Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako, Director General of Vocational Education Training Authority of Tanzania, Dr. Pancras Bujulu, Representatives of CQEC, Tanzania mainstream medias, along with hundreds of local people attended this ceremony. Chinese Ambassador H.E. Ms. Wang Ke and the Minister Hon. Prof. Joyce Ndalichako addressed in the ceremony and planted a souvenir tree together with all the representatives to symbolize Sino-Tanzania friendship and the official kick-off of the project.
This China-aid project is located at Bukoba District, Kagera Region of Tanzania, which takes up about 9.85 hectares, with total construction area of more than 6,000 square meters consisted of the administrative building, office building, teaching building, training workshops, canteen, dormitory etc. The project will accommodate around 400 students simultaneously for their professional training.
CQEC has successfully undertaken 46 China-aided projects in 27 countries by providing project engineering design, consultation and management services. CQEC will make full use of our management experience accumulated over the years, work closely with all participants of the project to ensure the quality, progress and safety, so as to create an excellent project and put new glamour onto the Sino-Tanzania’s traditional friendship.
