On July 14, 2021, the Agency for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of China held the first seminar on China-aid projects in Beijing, to share the experience on implementation of China-aid projects.
The China-aid 1.0 MWp Building Integrated Solar Photovoltaic (BIPV) Project of Singha Durbar Secretariat of Nepal executed by JV of China Qiyuan Engineering Corporation (abbr. as CQEC) and Xi'an Sifang Construction Supervision Co., Ltd. for the feasibility study, engineering design and project management has been honored as “Excellent Project” by the Ministry of Commerce of China.
The project installed totally 1.0MWp distributed solar PV power systems on the roof of buildings in Singha Durbar premises to utilize green energy to generate electricity for the government buildings. The project performed really stable and efficient since putting into operation in February 2018 and promoted solar photovoltaic development and application of Nepal afterward.
CQEC will take this chance to strengthen our project management staff, enhance political awareness and stance, encourage our personnel to be more responsible so as to fulfill the China-aid projects more successfully in the future and contribute to the building of a community of human destiny.
